Consensus PoWeR System
The Spear Report is the Consumer Reports® of the stock-picking world. We tell you which stock-picking sources really perform, and what they are recommending right now.
The 4 Steps of the Consensus PWR System:
- We start by being completely independent. We have no relationships with any of the several thousand companies we rank in our Consensus PWR system. We work only for you!
- We continually monitor over 125 sources of stock-picking advice, from guru newsletters to financial websites to computer models that mimic legendary investors.
- We objectively (and ruthlessly!) measure the real performance of each source of stock-picking advice!
- Then, we rank each stock by the average performance of all the sources that are currently recommending it. That's Performance Weighted Rank (PWR)!
A stock recommended by three winning sources and no losers would get a very high rank.
A stock recommended by two losers would get a very low rank.
A stock recommended by one winner and one loser might get a neutral rank, depending on the exact performance of each source.
